How to use

Image to PDF:
1. Click the upload area and select one or more images.
2. Arrange them in the desired order (they appear in selection order).
3. Choose page size: “Fit image” keeps original dimensions, or pick A4/Letter.
4. Click “Convert to PDF” – your PDF will download instantly.

PDF to Image:
1. Upload a single PDF.
2. Choose output format (JPG or PNG) and adjust quality if needed.
3. Click “Convert to Images (ZIP)” – a ZIP containing all pages will be saved.

Technical details

All processing happens locally in your browser using pdf-lib and PDF.js. Your files are never uploaded to any server – conversions are private and secure. Supported image formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP (for PDF embedding, only JPG/PNG are fully supported due to PDF standards; others are best for PDF-to-image).

For PDF-to-image, each page is rendered at 2× resolution for crisp output, then compressed with adjustable quality. The result is delivered as a ZIP archive.

Is my data safe? Do you store my files?

Absolutely not. The converter works entirely on your device. Files are never uploaded to any server. This means you can convert sensitive documents without worry.

What image formats are supported for Image → PDF?

We support JPG, PNG, GIF, and WEBP. However, for embedding into PDF, JPG and PNG are the primary formats. GIF/WEBP may be converted to PNG internally to maintain compatibility.

Can I merge many images into one PDF?

Yes! You can select multiple images at once. They will be added in the order you select them (or drag & drop). Each image becomes a separate page in the final PDF.

Why does the PDF-to-image conversion produce a ZIP file?

When converting a PDF with multiple pages, it's convenient to download all images in a single archive. You can then extract them on your computer.

Are there file size limits?

No hard limits, but very large files might strain browser memory. For best performance, keep PDFs under 50MB and images under 20MB each. Modern browsers can handle up to several hundred MB, but your mileage may vary.
