3. Edit your countdown: Use the secret edit link to change your expected age later. For example, if your life expectancy changes, you can update it. Keep this link private and safe.
4. Privacy first: We store only your birth date and target age. No email, no name. Your data is never shared. The edit token ensures only you can modify it.

The Life Countdown tool is built on a simple server‑side database and client‑side JavaScript:

What happens when I reach the target date?
The countdown will show "Time expired" and days will show zero. You can still update the target age using your edit link to extend the countdown if desired.
Can I delete my countdown?
Currently, deletion is not available through the interface to prevent accidental loss. If you need a countdown removed, please contact us via the support email. However, you can simply stop using the link.
Is there a limit on how many countdowns I can create?
No, you can create as many as you like. Each gets its own unique public and edit links. Feel free to make countdowns for different life goals or for family members.
What if I forget my edit link?
Because we don't store personal identifiers, we cannot recover lost edit tokens. You would need to create a new countdown. That's why we strongly recommend saving the edit link immediately after creation.
Does the tool use cookies or track me?
We use essential cookies only for site functionality (like login if you're an admin). For visitors, no tracking cookies are set by this tool. Third‑party ads may use cookies as per their policies.
