How to Use This Video Editor — Complete Guide
Follow these steps to professionally trim and watermark your videos:
- Upload your video: Click "Select Video File" and choose MP4, WebM, or MOV. The tool loads it instantly — no upload to server.
- Trim unwanted parts: Use the "Start Time" and "End Time" fields (in seconds) to define the segment you want to keep. For example, set Start=5.0 and End=30.0 to keep only seconds 5 to 30. Drag the slider to preview the selected range. This removes any footage before start and after end.
- Add watermark (optional): Choose text or image watermark. Customize font, color, size, opacity, and position. Image watermark supports PNG with transparency.
- Preview your edits: Click "Play Preview" to see the trimmed video with watermark applied. Use pause and reset as needed.
- Export: Click "Export MP4" to download your final video. The exported file will be trimmed exactly as previewed, include watermark, preserve original audio, and keep the original filename with "_processed" suffix.
Pro tip: For removing a middle segment, you'll need to export twice (e.g., cut front then back). We're adding multi-segment trimming soon.
Frequently Asked Questions — Video Trimming & Watermarking
Currently, you can remove the beginning (set start time) and the end (set end time). To remove a middle segment, you can export the first part, then trim the second part separately. A multi-segment cutter is on our roadmap.
No, the video quality remains unchanged because we only cut frames without re-encoding. Watermark addition does re-encode, but we use high-quality settings.
Audio is trimmed exactly to match the video segment. The exported video retains the original audio track (AAC or MP3) perfectly synced.
Your browser may have memory limits. For best performance, keep videos under 500MB and under 15 minutes. Longer videos may take more time to export.
Make sure you set watermark parameters (text or image) and opacity >0. Also, check that the export process completed fully (progress bar reached 100%).
Desktop browsers are recommended for video processing. Some mobile browsers may work but performance may be limited.
