Piano Practice FAQ

Why is there no sound?

Browsers block autoplay audio. Click the green "Activate Sound" button at the top of the tool. Once activated, all keys and the metronome will produce sound.

Does this work on phones and tablets?

Absolutely. For best experience, rotate your device to landscape mode. The keyboard is fully touch-responsive.

How can teachers use this tool?

Teachers can demonstrate scales, intervals, and chords during online lessons. The quiz mode is excellent for testing students' note recognition skills remotely.

What BPM range does the metronome support?

From 40 to 240 beats per minute. The tap tempo feature allows you to set a custom speed by tapping along with a piece of music.

How many octaves are available?

The keyboard displays one full octave (C to B) plus the next C. Use the octave +/- buttons to shift the range up or down, covering a total of 4 octaves (C3 to C6).
