How the One‑Sentence Chart Generator Works
Our natural language chart generator analyzes your sentence to extract time periods (monthly, quarterly, weekly), metrics (sales, revenue, traffic), and optional years. It then generates a realistic or custom dataset that matches your description. For precise control, paste your own CSV data (e.g., from Excel or Google Sheets) — the chart updates instantly. All processing happens inside your browser: no data leaves your device, ensuring privacy and speed.
Supported natural language patterns: “last year monthly sales”, “quarterly profit 2023”, “weekly website visits Jan–Mar”, “daily temperature in July”. For advanced users, CSV mode supports any labels and numeric values.
CSV Format Guide & Chart Engine
- CSV format: First row as headers (e.g.,
Category, Value). Subsequent rows: label, number. Example:Jan,1200orQ1,4500. - Natural language parsing: Uses keyword mapping (monthly → 12 months, quarterly → 4 quarters, last year → previous year labels). Generates sample data with realistic trend (upward/downward based on context).
- Chart.js engine: Supports bar/line toggle, responsive scaling, and vibrant gradients. Click the bar/line buttons to switch chart type without re‑generating data.
- Privacy: No server upload; your data never leaves this page.
Perfect for quick data exploration, presentation mockups, educators, and business analysts who want instant visualization without spreadsheet software.
